Designing a Jersey
Well here it is folks, the proposed layout for the back of the soon to be printed official R2TR Cycling Jersey. You’d think that getting one of these done would be as simple as having a custom t-shirt done but as I’ve quickly come to realize that isn’t quite the case. With our start date rapidly approaching (19 days and counting) and numerous printers requiring notice far beyond our ad-hoc style, we’ve been blessed to find the guys at Cycling & Sports in Elwood, Melbourne and their rapid turn-around times.
On top of printing dead lines and just trying to find blank cycling jerseys we’ve been at the mercy of our wonderful sponsors and their artwork coming in to us on time. A big thanks to all those involved in chasing it down and providing it to us as quickly as humanly possible. Lastly a huge thanks has to go to our personal graphic designer Natalie De Maaijer for her wonderful efforts in creating the amazing logo for the Ride 2 The Rock event.
Be on the look out for photos to come of the actual jerseys, where I might even let you see the front too, and if you by any chance would like one of these for yourself (at a nominal cost) add a comment below (with your size) and we’ll see what we can do about increasing the print run!
Thank you everyone again!
