Despite being the younger of the two man team Gavan is that of more experience. Having completed another long ride for charity in 2002 from Melbourne to Cairns, solo, Gavan is well adverse to the conditions and obstacles that are likely to arise in such a mammoth task as this one. Gavan was Beatrice’s work colleague and friend.

Always up for a challenge Shaun is a dynamo of energy and power. Having never embarked on a journey of these cycling proportions his bulldog-like attitude will keep him right there at Gavan’s side the entire stretch of ride. Shaun has also been instrumental in the promotion & encouragement of sponsorship for this event. Shaun was Beatrice’s in-line manager and an important member of her work family.

Whilst technicaly not “riding” Raj is providing remote riding support and is the powering force behind the Ride 2 The Rock online presence. As Shaun & Gavan embark on their journey across central Australia Raj will be making sure you all know about it and doing his best to provide interesting content along the way. Raj was Beatrice’s work colleague and friend.
